Noodles With Van Oodles http://vanoodles.com/blog.cfm Tue, 16 Aug 2011 04:10:00 GMT http://bandzoogle.com Oodle Vision http://vanoodles.com/blog.cfm?feature=2260594&postid=1195071 Dear Oodlers, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In July I started my own internet TV Show Called <a target="_new" href="./july2011.cfm">Oodle Vision which is really fun to make.&nbsp; The reason why I made it is because I want my own hip quirky TV show someday, which will be a family variety show that rocks.&nbsp; Imagine <a target="_new" href="http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/">SNL or <a target="_new" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Benny_Hill_Show">Bennie Hill or <a target="_new" href="http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/chappelles_show/index.jhtml">Chapelle Show, or <a target="_new" href="http://www.youtube.com/user/MontyPython">Monty Python or <a target="_new" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Living_Color">In Living Color meets Van Oodles for families. ]]> Tue, 16 Aug 2011 04:10:00 GMT 1707917D81044BC393752AA9B6DBDD53 Flossophy 101 Music Video Final Editing Stage July 2011 http://vanoodles.com/blog.cfm?feature=2260594&postid=1096600 Hey Fellow Oodlers! &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The <a href="./home.cfm" target="_new">Flossophy 101 video is aaaaaalmost done.&nbsp; Its been a long road.&nbsp; We began writing the script in October 2011 and began filming in November 2011.&nbsp; We shot the inside Van Oodles' house scene in NE Portland.&nbsp; We shot the &quot;mouth&quot; sequence at <a href="http://ackermanfilms.com/stage13.html" target="_new">Stage 13, home of <a href="http://ackermanfilms.com/stage13.html" target="_new">Ackerman Films, owned and led by <a href="http://ackermanfilms.com/stage13.html" target="_new">Dan Ackerman.&nbsp; Shooting finished in April 2011. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The director <a href="http://www.jabberwockyproductions.com/about.html" target="_new">Cassie Cohn of Jabberwocky Productions, video editor and all around video expert John Petrina, and myself began editing the Flossophy 101 in June 2011. And we are now on our 3rd edit meeting here in mid-July.&nbsp; The animation done by Liz Lewis, is going to be dropped into the film tomorrow by John Petrina.&nbsp; We are very excited as the pieces are all coming together. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; One thing is for sure, whenever anyone hears the Flossophy 101 song they start thinking about flossing.&nbsp; Virtually every member who has worked on this film has since become a devout flosser after working on the video and being exposed to the song.&nbsp; This is a creative and powerful song with a creative and powerful message, which is about to go Mach 10 for sure! I am on another health kick, I have one every so often to restart because I sometimes start to eat out too much or eat sugar.&nbsp; Van Oodles new album Flossophy101 has lots of songs about being and eating healthy!&nbsp;&nbsp; Let's see we have Slow Food, Flossophy 101, I'm Just A Regular Guy, Garden Of Mine, Veggie Burger Dance and Neti Pot.&nbsp; Have fun listen to these songs!! &nbsp; They are a healthy choice! We had a fundraiser through indiegogo which was awesome!  We raised over $2000 and Thank YOU to everyone who donated.  BUT, as it turns out, making a good video costs a pretty penny and we are going to have a second fundraiser to raise $1500.00 for editing.  Details will be forthcoming about the NEW Fundraiser.  I will be posting a real live video trailer starting 3/26/11 for that fundaiser.
